A 31-year-old man who was shot and killed in his Yelm area trailer last week has been identified by the Thurston County Coroner.

About 6:20 p.m. March 5, deputies were dispatched to the 11000 block of Morris Road Southeast, which is in the Yelm area, near Prairie Elementary School.

That’s where they found Trever Miller, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, Coroner Gary Warnock said Sunday.

Nearby residents heard the shots and saw a vehicle leave the scene. It was described as a 1990s light blue or silver Honda Civic with after-market wheels, The Olympian reported.

The nearby residents, Yelm police, Thurston deputies and an area fire crew tried to revive the man but were unsuccessful.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to send an email to detectives@co.thurston.wa.us.
