Nominations open for YWCA Women of Achievement

It’s time to nominate South Sound women for the 21st annual YWCA Women of Achievement Celebration.

Nominees should model the goals of the YWCA of Olympia: to eliminate racial and gender inequity, and to advance the social and economic status of all women and girls.

The YWCA of Olympia also will honor businesses in Thurston, Mason and Lewis counties that recognize that the value of women in the workplace.

Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Aug 19 at ywcaofolympia.org. Additional forms can be obtained by calling the YWCA at 360-352-0593 or by emailing ywca@ywcaofolympia.org.

Honorees will be announced in early September. The Achievement Gala will be Nov. 5.
