Motorcyclist killed in wreck in northeast Lacey has been identified

A 37-year-old man who crashed his motorcycle in northeast Lacey last week and died has been identified, according to the Thurston County Coroner.

Timothy J. Roderick of Olympia crashed his motorcycle in the 7800 block of Hawks Prairie Road Northeast, near a Home Depot distribution warehouse, about 11:55 p.m. Monday, July 29.

No other vehicle was involved in the wreck, Lacey police Sgt. Jeremy Knight told The Olympian.

Medics with Lacey Fire District 3 tried to revive the man but he died at the scene.
