Do you drive SR3 in Mason County? Expect daytime delays Monday and Tuesday, WSDOT says
Road work is happening this week on state Route 3 between Belfair and Shelton in Mason County, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Crews need to make pavement repairs in the area.
Here’s how it will work:
Shelton
▪ From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, travelers in Shelton will see a closed center turn lane and shifted travel lane on northbound SR 3 approaching Ellinor Avenue. Access to Ellinor Avenue and Fairmount Avenue from SR 3 will also be closed.
Near Belfair
▪ From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, travelers south of Belfair will see one-way alternating traffic on SR 3 approaching Lake Devereaux Road.
Work is scheduled during the day when workers are more easily seen, according to WSDOT.
