Half the tools that were stolen from a community workspace in Lacey earlier this month have been recovered, according to Lacey police.

Lacey MakerSpace, which is based on the campus of Saint Martin’s University, was burglarized the evening of Sept. 19. About $20,000 in tools were taken, according to police.

Lacey police recovered half the tools Wednesday night after they obtained a search warrant to check an area residence, Sgt. Jeremy Knight said Sunday.

The residence was unoccupied, according to police.

The two suspects are a man and a woman. Knight said the woman has been identified, but police are still looking for both of them.

In addition to the tools, several guns were found, one of which was confirmed stolen, according to police.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Lacey police at 360-459-4333.
