A 38-year-old motorcyclist who died Friday night on Interstate 5 near Grand Mound has been identified, according to the Thurston County Coroner.

About 8 p.m., Justin R. Tietje of Duvall in King County was headed south on his motorcycle near milepost 88, the Washington State Patrol reported early Saturday.

Coroner Gary Warnock said Sunday that Tietje was identified via fingerprints. His autopsy is set for Tuesday, he said.

The Lakewood driver and her 35-year-old passenger were not hurt, according to State Patrol.

Following the crash, traffic was slowed in the area for more than four hours.
