A Shelton man who was killed in a Thursday night wreck in Mason County has been identified, according to the Washington State Patrol.

About 11:10 p.m. Dec. 5, Levi C. Eaton, 39, was headed south on state Route 3 at Grapeview Loop Road South. Troopers say he crossed the center line and crashed into a northbound vehicle occupied by two Belfair men.

The cause of the crash was driving at “speeds too fast for the conditions,” according to State Patrol.

Eaton died at the scene.

The Belfair men, ages 59 and 65, were injured and taken to St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale.
