Update: The time of the incident has been corrected.

A 27-year-old Shelton truck driver was not injured, but his truck did wind up perched on a freeway barrier Friday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.

About 5:10 a.m. Dec. 6, the man was headed west in his tractor-trailer on state Route 16 near Port Orchard.

Troopers say he drove off the road and crashed into a jersey barrier, then swerved to the left and crashed into that barrier and up and onto it.

After the crash about 80 gallons of diesel spilled from the vehicle, according to State Patrol.
