A 23-year-old Lacey man injured himself in a single-vehicle wreck in Mason County Saturday night, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Just before 8 p.m., troopers say the man was headed east on state Route 302 at a “high rate of speed.” That location is across the bay from the town of Allyn.

Troopers say while speeding, the man failed to negotiate a curve, lost control of the car and rolled it into the westbound lane.

The man was hurt and taken to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.
