Here are school delays and other impacts of Tuesday’s icy weather

The continuing wintry mix of snow and rain has created icy conditions that have delayed schools and activities around Thurston County Tuesday. Here are the impacts we’re aware of:

School districts

Aberdeen SD: 2 hours late Tuesday, no morning preschool.

Adna SD: 2 Hours Late.

Boistfort SD: 2 Hours Late, No preschool. No breakfast served

Centralia SD: 2 Hours Late, No AM preschool. Buses will run on normal routing.

Chehalis SD: 2 Hours Late, No AM preschool, AM Buses on snow routes, no out-of-district transportation.

Cosmopolis SD: 2 hours late Tuesday.

Elma SD: AM buses on snow routes, 2 hours late, no AM preschool. No out-of-district transportation

Evaline SD: 2 hours late. AM buses on snow routes.

Grapeview SD: 2 hours late. AM buses on snow routes.

Griffin SD: Griffin School on regular schedule. Buses on emergency snow routes.

Hoquiam SD: 2 hours late Tuesday, no preschool.

Mary M. Knight SD: 2 hours late, no preschool, AM buses on snow routes, no out-of-district transportation.

McCleary SD: AM buses on snow routes, 2 hours late, no AM preschool. No out-of-district transportation

Montesano SD: Closed.

Napavine SD: AM buses on snow routes, 2 Hours Late. More Info

North Thurston Public Schools: 3 hours late, no preschool, no out-of-district transportation. No school breakfast. After-school activities will continue as scheduled. Summit Virtual Academy will operate on a regular schedule.

Oakville SD: AM buses on snow routes, 2 hours late.

Ocosta SD: 2 hours late, no morning kindergarten.

Olympia SD: All Olympia School District schools will start on time. However, due to icy roads in some parts of the district, all AM school buses will run on snow routes. There is no out-of-district transportation or district transportation to New Market Skills Center. Olympia School District bus routes 50 (Munson Rd SW) and 62 (Shellridge Rd NW) are on PM snow routes. All other buses in the district are running on regular PM bus routes.

Olympic Academy South: 2 hours late. No breakfast

Pioneer SD: 2 hours late, AM buses on snow routes, no out-of-district transportation.

Pope John Paul II HS: 2 hours late, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Raymond SD: 3 hours late Tuesday. Buses will be on snow routes.

Satsop SD: AM buses on snow routes, 2 Hours Late. No out-of-district transportation

St. Michael Parish School, Olympia: 2 Hours Late. No Half Day Pre-K. No Morning Care. More Info

Shelton SD: 2 hours late, no AM preschool, AM buses on snow routes, no out-of-district transportation.

Toledo SD: AM buses on snow routes, 2 Hours Late, No preschool.

Tumwater SD: 2 hours late. AM buses on snow routes. No preschool. No out of district transportation. No AM New Market session, no AM Cascadia High School session.

White Pass SD: 2 hours late, AM/PM buses on snow routes. No breakfast service

Willapa Valley SD: Closed.

Winlock SD: AM buses on snow routes, 2 Hours Late.

Colleges

Olympic College: Late start. Bremerton, Poulsbo and Shelton campuses open at 10 am.

Saint Martin’s University: 3 hours late. Operations will start at 11 a.m.

UW Tacoma: Opening at 10 am. Tuesday.

Organization

Skokomish Tribe: 2 hours late.
