4 hurt, including 2 boys, after driver tries to pass car turning left, WA State Patrol says

Four people were injured Friday evening when their vehicle was struck by a driver trying to pass them as they turned left, according to the Washington State Patrol.

All four were taken to Providence Centralia Hospital, including two boys, ages 6 and 5, troopers say.

About 7:40 p.m., two drivers were headed south on State Route 505 in Lewis County. One of those drivers, a 41-year-old Toledo man, stepped on the brakes to turn left, troopers say.

Meanwhile, the driver behind him, a 23-year-old Federal Way man, attempted to pass him and crashed into his vehicle, according to the State Patrol.

The Federal Way man was not hurt, troopers say.
