Snow has arrived in the Olympia area -- and so have the changes in plans. Here’s what we know

The snow has arrived, and so have notifications about changes in plans due to the icy roads.

Here’s what we know so far.

Schools

Olympia School District: Due to expected snowfall, all PM buses throughout the Olympia School District will run on snow routes. All after-school activities have been canceled.

Centralia SD: PM buses on snow routes.

Chehalis SD: PM buses on snow routes.

Pope John Paul II HS: Afternoon and evening activities canceled. This includes fitness club and step-up.

Rochester SD: Evening activities canceled, PM buses on snow routes. School will dismiss at normal time.

Colleges

Centralia College: The main campus closed at 1 pm. All afternoon and evening activities are canceled except the Board of Trustees meeting, which will take place online. Centralia College East (Morton) will remain open.

The Evergreen State College: Olympia campus is closing at 5 pm and will remain in suspended operations until midnight. No in-person classes beyond this time. Remote classes will continue. Students should contact faculty for specific class information. Required, emergency and essential staff remain on-site; all others work remotely.

Pierce College: Afternoon and evening activities canceled. Closing at 4 p.m. Any class that ends after 4 p.m. is canceled.
