A school bus transporting about 30 Shelton students was involved in a three-vehicle wreck in Mason County Thursday afternoon, according to Washington State Patrol.

Two students, both 15, were hurt and taken to Mason General Hospital, troopers say. The drivers of the second and third vehicles, ages 39 and 63, also were injured and taken to the same hospital.

About 3 p.m., the 58-year-old bus driver was headed north on state Route 3, north of Johns Prairie Road. Another driver was stopped in a northbound lane to turn left, according to State Patrol.

The bus rear-ended that car and pushed it into a southbound vehicle, Trooper Katherine Weatherwax said on social media.
