Frenchie’s on 4th, a downtown Olympia business that temporarily closed for a remodel, has reopened as a breakfast cafe, the business announced on social media.

“We have decided to step away from the donut business and offer something more exciting for our community,” an Instagram post reads. “We will now be a breakfast cafe.”

The soft opening was 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.

“We will have 3/4 of our tables open so we can ease in to things and dial in our flow,” a Facebook post reads. “We had planned on opening Wednesday, but we need an extra day to ensure everything is where it needs to be in order to give you all top notch service.”

So what’s on the breakfast menu? Here are some of the choices:

The Big Frenchie Breakfast: Short stack of pancakes, sausage, bacon, two eggs, homestyle potatoes, choice of toast or English muffin.

The Son of a Biscuit: Two buttermilk biscuits covered with andouille sausage gravy.

Sophie’s Breakfast Smash Burger: Local beef patty, two bacon strips, fried egg, American cheese and a side of homestyle potatoes.

Mario’s Breakfast Burrito: Italian sausage, eggs, bacon, cheese, green peppers, onion and homestyle potatoes topped with chili verde.
