Tesla charging station vandalized overnight in Lacey, police say. The FBI is investigating

A Tesla vehicle charging station was vandalized overnight in Lacey, police announced.

About 1:35 a.m. Tuesday, police were dispatched to a malicious mischief call after 911 callers described hearing a loud noise near the 600 block of Sleater Kinney Road Southeast.

Police arrived to find the electric vehicle charging station in the Target parking lot damaged.

Lacey detectives are investigating the incident and so is the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
