The Washington State Patrol is seeking witnesses to a road rage shooting on U.S. Highway 101 near Mud Bay Road Tuesday morning, the agency says.

About 10 a.m., the victim was headed north in a white Dodge pickup truck when the occupant of a blue Jeep fired a single shot at the pickup after people in the two vehicles were engaged in a road rage incident, according to troopers.

The blue Jeep fled north after the shooting. No one was injured, troopers say.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have more information regarding the suspect vehicle and its occupants is asked to contact Detective Tessa Schahfer at tessa.schahfer@wsp.wa.gov or at 253-538-3172.
