Update: WSDOT announced Tuesday morning that this work has been canceled and will be rescheduled.

Drivers who use northbound Interstate 5 near Lacey can expect traffic congestion Tuesday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Road crews, just as they did on Easter Sunday, will close the right lane of northbound I-5 near Marvin Road for temporary concrete panel repairs.

The work is set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 29.

“These temporary repairs are occurring as soon as materials and schedules allow,” WSDOT officials said in a news release.

“Additional repairs are scheduled on northbound I-5 between Carpenter Road and Marvin Road during overnight hours when traffic volumes are lower.”
