A 70-year-old man who died after being struck by two vehicles on Martin Way Friday night has been identified by the Thurston County Coroner.

Antonio Lopez of Lacey died at the scene, Coroner Gary Warnock said Sunday. His medical exam is set for Tuesday, Warnock said.

Thurston County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 8000 block of Martin Way East about 10:45 p.m. Friday. That address is near Galaxy Drive.

It appeared that Lopez had crossed the road right in front of the two vehicles that hit him, Sheriff’s Lt. Mike Brooks said.
