2-vehicle crash Sunday morning closes U.S. Highway 12 in both directions, WSDOT says
Update: The highway reopened to traffic about 2 p.m. Sunday, according to WSDOT.
U.S. Highway 12 has closed in both directions near Salkum in Lewis County after a 2-vehicle crash about 11 a.m. Sunday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Emergency crews are at the scene, working to clear the road, according to WSDOT.
“There’s no estimated time for reopening. Please use an alternate route until further notice,” WSDOT officials said in an alert.
