Missing man, 73, last seen near Nisqually boat launch

The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office reports that Jerry Wayne Anderson has been missing since about 6:15 a.m. Monday (Aug. 10).

Anderson was last seen near the John Luhr Beach Boat Launch on D Milluhr Drive Northeast near the Nisqually Reach Nature Center in east Thurston County. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black sweatpants and black tennis shoes. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.

Those searching for Anderson include Thurston County Search and Rescue, K-9 units, a Washington State Patrol aircraft, and a Thurston County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit, according to the Sheriff’s Office. .

Anyone who sees Anderson is asked to avoid approaching him and instead call 911.
