Remember the Looney Tunes’ cartoon character Wile. E. Coyote? He was the coyote who repeatedly tried to ensnare the Road Runner, who was always too quick and clever to fall for his schemes.

A 6-foot statue of the coyote has gone missing, according to Olympia police.

The statue, which stood alongside a similar-sized Road Runner outside Olympia Orthodontics, went missing on May 22, police Lt. Paul Lower said.

The statue was bolted to the ground outside the dental office in the 3600 block of Ensign Road Northeast, he said.

Anyone with information about the missing statue is asked to call police at 360-753-8300.
