A 20-year-old man was seriously injured when he was ejected from a vehicle during a rollover wreck in south Thurston County just after midnight Monday, according to Washington State Patrol.

About 12:40 a.m., the man was headed east on U.S. Highway 12 at Sargent Road when he crashed and was ejected, said Trooper John Dattilo on Tuesday.

That location is about two intersections west of Interstate 5 in the Grand Mound area, he said.

The 20-year-old was then flown to Tacoma General Hospital. His medical status as of Tuesday was not immediately known.

The man is suspected of driving under the influence, Dattilo said.

There were no other passengers in the vehicle, he said.
