What do you like or not like about Lacey? City asks residents to complete community survey
The city of Lacey, in partnership with a business called Polco, is asking residents to participate in a new community survey that went live on Monday.
The survey is available in English, Spanish, and Korean and closes on June 30.
“The survey results will help determine future city priorities, including projects, programs, and services,” a news release reads. “The city intends to conduct this survey every two years to track changes in community needs and perceptions over time.”
A check of the survey page shows that it takes about 15 minutes to complete.
Among the items the survey seeks responses to:
▪ Rating the overall quality of the natural environment of the city.
▪ Rating the safety of the city.
▪ Rating the overall image or reputation of the city.
▪ Rating the ease of walking in the city.
▪ Rating K-12 education in the city.
▪ Rating the city’s drinking water.
▪ Rating Lacey government performance.
The survey also asks what the city should focus on in the next two years.
“Community feedback plays a crucial role in shaping council priorities,” said Mayor Andy Ryder in a statement. “The more people who take the survey, the more accurate the data will be, so I’m counting on you to help us improve our city, together.”
