IT expands service to northwest Tumwater
Intercity Transit’s Route 42 service is expanding Monday to include service to and from northwest Tumwater and a portion of Mottman Industrial Park.
The extension will loop through the southwest Mottman Industrial Park by way of Johnson Boulevard, 37th Avenue and Ferguson Street Southwest. Several businesses and facilities will gain service in this part of town and several residential developments.
The change also will accommodate the upcoming opening of the Accountability and Restitution Center, which is located on Ferguson Street. The route will continue to serve Thurston County Family and Juvenile Court, South Puget Sound Community College, Black Lake Boulevard and Cooper Point Road.
Service will operate weekdays every 30 minutes between 7:15 a.m. and 6 p.m.
