Tuesday morning I-5 traffic slowed after wreck near Tumwater, WSP says
A three-vehicle wreck slowed traffic on northbound Interstate 5 in Tumwater Tuesday morning, according to Washington State Patrol.
About 7:35 a.m., a driver slowed to merge lanes because a lane was closed for re-striping in the area of 93rd Avenue, Trooper John Dattilo said.
However, during the merge, the driver struck a Ford van, which caused that driver to lose control and crash into a pick-up truck. The van rolled onto its side and the truck rolled over into a ditch, Dattilo said.
No serious injuries were reported, he said.
Around 10 a.m., crews were still working to get the truck out of the ditch, Dattilo said.
