Woman dies in Thurston County house fire near Carlyon Beach
An 83-year-old woman died in a Thurston County house fire early Saturday evening, according to the county Coroner’s Office.
About 6 p.m., fire crews were dispatched to the 9900 block of Overlook Drive Northwest, an address in the Steamboat Island area near Carlyon Beach.
The Olympian reached out to the Griffin Fire Department for more information on Sunday, but did not hear back.
