A 21-year-old Tenino man is facing multiple criminal charges after a wreck in Grays Harbor County Friday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.

About 7:45 a.m., the Tenino man was headed west in a Dodge Challenger on U.S. Highway 12, approaching Aberdeen.

Troopers say he crashed into a trailer being hauled by a pick-up truck, then struck the center guardrail, according to the State Patrol.

The two men who occupied the truck, ages 27 and 41, were not injured. However, the Tenino man was hurt and taken to Harbor Regional Health in Aberdeen.

Troopers say the cause of the crash was “following too close.”

The Tenino man is facing driving under the influence and second-degree negligent driving charges, according to State Patrol.
