Chick-fil-A construction will slow traffic this week, city says. Here’s the plan
Drivers this week in the area of Cooper Point Road Southwest and Capital Mall Drive Southwest in west Olympia should prepare for slower traffic because of work tied to a new restaurant, the city of Olympia announced.
“These impacts are happening for completion of frontage and road restoration work associated with the Chick-fil-A project,” a news release reads.
Here’s the work schedule during the day:
- From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Nov. 18 through Nov. 24, the work will impact at least one northbound lane on Cooper Point Road and one westbound lane on Capital Mall Drive.
Here’s the work planned for night:
- From 7 p.m. Nov. 18 to 5 a.m. the next day, the work will impact two northbound lanes and one southbound left-turn lane on Cooper Point Road.
The city asks that drivers use alternate routes or add travel time to trips,
