Olympia driver involved in 2-vehicle wreck, Washington State Patrol reports
A 37-year-old Olympia man escaped injury after he was involved in a two-vehicle wreck in Grays Harbor County on Monday, according to Washington State Patrol.
About 12:40 p.m., the Olympia driver was headed north on state Route 105 when, according to troopers, a southbound vehicle crossed the center line and crashed into him.
His vehicle wound up blocking both directions of the road, while the other vehicle came to a stop down an embankment, according to State Patrol.
An 18-year-old female passenger in the southbound vehicle was hurt and taken to Harbor Regional Health in Aberdeen. The driver, a 21-year-old Cosmopolis man, was not injured.
He faces a charge of second-degree negligent driving for traveling at a “speed too fast for conditions,” according to State Patrol.
