Mason County woman who died in single-vehicle wreck identified, WSP says
A 48-year-old Mason County woman who died in a single-vehicle wreck on Dec. 24 has been identified, according to the Washington State Patrol.
About 4:25 p.m., Lydia C. Johns of Union was driving east on state Route 106, approaching Skokomish, according to State Patrol.
Troopers say Johns lost control of the vehicle and crashed in a ditch. Johns died at the scene, according to State Patrol.
Troopers identified the cause of the crash as “speed and DUI.”
Her family was notified by the Mason County Coroner, according to the State Patrol.
