I-5 lane, ramp closures scheduled in Olympia, Tumwater

The Washington State Department of Transportation has some major closures scheduled for the Olympia area this weekend.

On Aug. 21, one lane on the ramp from southbound US 101 to northbound Interstate 5 will close at 8 p.m. and one lane will remain open until 9 p.m., when crews will close the entire ramp.

The Deschutes Way SW on-ramp to northbound Interstate 5 will close at 8 p.m. Crews will also close two right lanes of northbound I-5 between Trosper Road SW and Capitol Lake beginning at 9:30 p.m.

All lanes and ramps will reopen at 8 a.m. Aug. 22.

At 9 p.m. Aug. 22 the southbound I-5 exit to northbound US 101 will close. Double and triple lane closures may also occur between Henderson Boulevard and Capitol Lake.

All lanes and ramps will reopen at 9 a.m. Aug. 23.
