Driver flees south after causing rollover wreck that injured 4, troopers say

The Washington State Patrol is looking for a driver who triggered a rollover wreck on southbound Interstate 5 Friday morning.

About 9:40 a.m., the unidentified driver and vehicle were headed south on I-5 in Lewis County near Napavine. Troopers say that driver changed lanes and crashed into another southbound driver.

That driver then lost control, struck the freeway barrier and his vehicle rolled before coming to a stop in the left shoulder. The causing driver continued to drive south, according to the State Patrol.

Four people were injured in the rollover crash: A man and woman from Longview, a 31-year-old Centralia woman and a juvenile. All were taken to Providence Centralia Hospital.

Anyone with information about the driver and vehicle that left the scene is asked to contact Trooper Dakota Russell at Dakota.Russell@wsp.wa.gov.
