Alert canceled for Nisqually woman who went missing on Thursday

Update: The missing person alert was canceled around 3 p.m. on Friday, the WSP Missing and Unidentified Persons Unit program manager told The Olympian on Feb. 9.

Initial post: Nisqually police are asking the public for help finding a missing 62-year-old Indigenous person.

Anna Eaglebear was last seen walking with a red and black walker at about 6 a.m. Thursday in the Nisqually area, according to a Washington State Patrol Missing Indigenous Person Alert.

The State Patrol said they activated the alert on behalf of the Nisqually Police Department. The alert describes Eaglebear as a 5-foot-4-inches tall, 210-pound person with brown hair and brown eyes.

She reportedly wore a white shirt, brown flannel coat, dark pants with polka dots and white shoes when she was last seen.

Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911, according to the alert.
