Driver dies in single-vehicle wreck in south Thurston Co., WA State Patrol says
A 54-year-old woman died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash in south Thurston County Saturday night, according to the Washington State Patrol.
About 11:10 p.m., the Cinebar woman — Cinebar is in Lewis County — was headed east toward Rochester on U.S. Highway 12, near Moon Road, when troopers say she drove off the road to the right and came to a stop in a ditch.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, according to the State Patrol.
Following the crash, the road was blocked for nearly five hours, troopers say.
