Shelton woman, suspected of DUI, crashes into creek bed, troopers say

A 60-year-old Shelton woman, suspected of driving under the influence, crashed her pick-up truck on state Route 3 in Mason County on Saturday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

About 5 p.m., she was headed north on the highway, northwest of Grapeview, when troopers say she drove off the road to the right, entered a ditch, drove through a creek bed and came to a stop against an embankment.

She was injured in the crash and taken to St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale.
