Expect delays this week as work on a Thurston Co. roundabout begins, WSDOT says

The state Department of Transportation will begin mobilizing for roundabout construction in Thurston County early this week, and that means drivers should expect delays.

From 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday and Tuesday, motorists should expect lane reductions and single-lane alternating traffic on state Route 510 at Rockcress Drive Southeast, which is east of Lacey.

Major construction during daytime hours is scheduled to begin later this spring, according to WSDOT.

The $3.8 million project is expected to be complete in spring 2027.
