Thurston County driver suspected of DUI crashes car near lake, WSP says
A Tenino woman, suspected of driving under the influence, crashed into a tree in south Thurston County Monday evening, according to the Washington State Patrol.
About 7 p.m., the 49-year-old was headed north on state Route 121, also known in the area as Tilley Road, near Deep Lake at Millersylvania State Park.
Troopers say she drove off the road to the right, hit the tree and injured herself. She was then taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.
The road was closed for about an hour following the collision, according to the State Patrol.
