Public asked to help find Thurston County man after ‘concerning’ disappearance

The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help locating a person who went missing a couple days ago.

Cody Jacks was last communicated with on Tuesday, according to a Wednesday missing person bulletin the Sheriff’s Office posted on social media. His last known location was the area of 80th Avenue Southeast in Olympia. The bulletin describes him as 6-feet tall and 190 pounds.

When reached for comment, Lt. Cameron Simper said there are “concerning aspects” of his disappearance that are “outside his normal behavior.”

“At this point, we don’t believe there’s any foul play involved,” Simper said Thursday morning. “We’re more so concerned about his well-being and welfare.”

Anyone with information about Jacks can call dispatch at 360-704-2740 or email detectives@co.thurston.wa.us.
