A woman was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Thursday after being pinned under an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) in Thurston County.

Southeast Thurston Fire Authority Chief Mark King told The Olympian on June 12 that units were dispatched at 4:42 p.m. on Thursday to a serious ATV accident on Penn Lane Southeast near Yelm.

He said a woman had been pinned underneath an ATV for an unknown amount of time. He said she was treated at the scene and then flown to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

King was not immediately able to provide more information regarding the accident or the woman’s condition.
