One lucky Hit 5 player scored a six-figure jackpot after buying a winning ticket at a Western Washington grocery store, lottery officials said.

The player matched five white balls in the Wednesday, June 24, drawing to win a $315,000 cashpot, according to a spokesperson for Washington’s Lottery.

The winning Hit 5 ticket was purchased at Fred Meyers, 700 Southeast Sleater Kinney Road in Lacey.

The Thurston County city is a roughly 10-minute drive from Olympia.

The winning numbers in Wednesday’s Hit 5 drawing were 13, 20, 26, 39 and 41, according to the Washington’s Lottery website.

Hit 5 drawings occur daily at 8 p.m.

The next Hit 5 drawing is 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 25.

Ticket sales end at 7:45 p.m. for the day’s drawing, and resume at 7:46 p.m. to be counted in the following day’s drawing.

The Hit 5 lottery game costs $1 per play, according to Washington’s Lottery.

Players can choose five numbers between 1 and 42 using a playslip or let the system Quick Pick the numbers for them. You can buy tickets for up to 25 consecutive drawings.

The odds of winning the Hit 5 cashpot are one in 851,000.
