Romero to host informal meetings on transportation issues
Thurston Regional Planning Council executive director Lon Wyrick will be the guest for Thurston County Commissioner Sandra Romero’s next round of coffee chats, which will be held at three locations Monday.
Romero — who represents the county’s District 2, which includes Yelm, Lacey and Rainier — holds the informal meetings once a month so that community members can learn about issues, share ideas and get questions answered.
Wyrick, who has served as the regional planning council head for nearly 15 years, will discuss transportation issues at the meetings.
The meetings will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Rainier City Hall, 102 Rochester St. W.; 11 a.m.-noon at Mr. Doug’s, 210 NE 103rd Ave., Yelm; and 2-3 p.m. at Forza Coffee, 130 Marvin Road SE, Lacey.
