Comedy and cancer collide at free seminar at Great Wolf Lodge
The public is invited to attend a free seminar this week that blends comedy and cancer.
“Learning Through Laughter” runs 6-8 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 1) at Great Wolf Lodge, 20500 Old Highway 99 SW, Grand Mound. Two-time cancer survivor Mack Dryden will present his perspectives, and attendees will be able to interact with Providence St. Peter Hospital’s new “da Vinci surgical robot.” The robot is a tool that offers minimally invasive surgery for urology and gynecology patients, according to Providence.
The event is presented by the Providence Regional Cancer System and Centralia Rotary. Other featured speakers include Dr. Joshua Z. Press and Dr. Marina Cheng. Refreshments will be provided. To register, call 855-360-5475 or visit www.provregister.org.
