I-5 maintenance requires night lane closures in Olympia

Drivers using Interstate 5 in Olympia may encounter overnight delays this weekend.

Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close several lanes of northbound I-5 for bridge joint repairs. Drivers also can expect lane shifts.

From 10:30 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday,up to three right lanes of northbound I-5 from Henderson Boulevard to Pacific Avenue will be closed. One northbound lane will remain open.

Southbound I-5 lanes will not be affected.
