Tenino High School locked down briefly after dismissal

Tenino High School was locked down briefly after dismissal today because of a threat to a student.

The Tenino School District’s Facebook page reported that the school received a report about noon that an individual in a vehicle near the school had threatened a student with a gun. Thurston County Sheriff’s deputies responded and the vehicle in question left the scene.

Most students had already left campus, the school district reported. Law enforcement is continuing its investigation.
