Crews respond to commercial structure fire in Tumwater

Tumwater Fire crews responded to a commercial structure fire in the 5400 block of Capitol Boulevard on Saturday morning, according to a post on the Tumwater Firefighters Union IAFF Local 2409 Facebook page.

“An occupant was able to safely apply a fire extinguisher to the fire, keeping it small,” the post stated.

Olympia Fire, East Olympia Fire and McLane Black Lake Fire crews also responded to the scene.

Olympia Firefighters IAFF Local 468 posted on Facebook that the fire was at Line-X of Olympia, and their crews responded to the scene at about 7:20 a.m. No other information was immediately available.
