Woman found in Chambers Lake drowned

A 68-year-old woman found Wednesday night in Chambers Lake died as a result of fresh-water drowning, according to the Thurston County Coroner Gary Warnock.

The woman was identified as Lois Fenker of Lacey. The manner of her death is undetermined because no one witnessed it, Warnock said.

Her body was discovered by a kayaker.
