The suspect vehicle involved in a Friday night shooting on Fourth Avenue East at Puget Street in Olympia was thought to be an early model 2000 Honda Civic or Nissan Sentra, according to details released Sunday by the Olympia Police Department.

The vehicle also was thought to be:

▪ A red, sport-type passenger car.

▪ A car with blue-tinted LED headlights.

▪ A car with black after-market rims.

▪ A car with dark-tinted windows.

The suspect vehicle was eastbound on Fourth Avenue East at Puget Street about 11 p.m. Friday night when shots were fired from that car into another vehicle. The other car was occupied by three people, including one man in his 20s who was struck by several bullets. He was first taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital and then Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Lt. Paul Lower said Sunday.

The victim’s injuries were considered serious but not life-threatening.
