The United Churches of Olympia federation celebration: The church is celebrating 100 years of its federation during 2016. Sunday services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. will include historical remembrances. This month’s theme is Easter bonnets. Everyone is encouraged to wear an Easter bonnet or a hat. Author Talk and Book Signing with Jerry Ramsey: In his book, “Stealing Puget Sound: 1832-1869,” author Jerry V. Ramsey exposes the political tension between the first British settlers and the American pioneers who crossed the Oregon Trail 15 years later.
