Blooming with Health gala: The Thurston Mason County Medical Society event begins 6 p.m. at Indian Summer Golf & Country Club, 5900 Troon Lane SE, Olympia. Olympia Free Clinic and the Mason County swimming pool will receive all proceeds from the event, which includes dinner, dancing and silent auction. Live music by Sonic Funk Orchestra. Tickets are $90 each or $850 for a table for 10 at tmcms.org.

47th Project Easter Basket: Barb O’Neill and Friends’ annual Project Easter Basket will kick off at noon at First United Methodist Church, 1224 Legion Way SE, Olympia. Mixx 96.1/O Bee Credit Union Egg Dash: Bring a basket and Mixx 96.1 takes care of the rest. 11 a.m. at the Regional Athletic Complex, 8345 Steilacoom Road SE, Lacey. Tumwater’s 20th annual Easter Egg Dash: More than 20,000 colorful eggs will be nestled in the grassy area behind the stadium at Tumwater High School, 700 Israel Road SW. For ages infant-10, 11 a.m. Information: 3600754-4160.

Lacey Timberland Library anniversary party: Festivities begin at 2 p.m. feature a concert by the Olympia Aloha Ukulele Pu’ukani, followed by light refreshments and a look back on the history of the library. Leading up to the festivities, members of the public are invited to write personal messages for Project Time Capsule. The themes are “my vision for the library of the future,” and “my favorite things about the library.” Contributors may come to the library to transfer their messages onto archival paper, to be sealed into the time capsule. The time capsule will be opened on the library’s 50th anniversary in 2041. All Timberland Regional Library programs are free. The Lacey Timberland Library is at 500 College Street SE. Olympia Eagles Easter Egg Hunt: More than 1,000 kids are expected to hunt for 21,000 plastic eggs, 2 p.m. at Priest Point Park, 2600 East Bay Drive NE. Olympia. The special-needs group is sponsored through Parent to Parent and starts at noon. There will be a shuttle 11 a.m. -3:30 p.m. with parking at Swantown Marina. Information: 360-357-3722.

Olympia Lodge #1 15th annual Easter Egg Dash: Will include nearly 10,000 eggs for children from infant-12, and kicks off at 4 p.m., at 455 North St. SE, in Tumwater. Snacks available. Easter bunny photos available for $5.

Meet with county commissioner and PSE: Join Thurston County Commissioner Sandra Romero and Puget Sound Energy representative Bryan McConaughy, for coffee, and learn what the company is doing to improve reliability, provide energy efficiency opportunities and inform customers on emergency preparedness. The meetings are 9:30-10:30 am. at Rainier City Hall, 102 Rochester Street West; 11 a.m. to noon at Pizzeria La Gitana, 309 Yelm Ave E., Yelm, and 2-3 p.m. at Forza Coffee, 130 Marvin Rd. SE, Lacey.
