Rochester Primary School kindergarten registration: Packets are available for students entering kindergarten for the 2016-17 school year from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at the school, 7440 James Road SW, Rochester. Save KPLU meeting: The effort needs to raise $7 million in six months to match the amount of the current offer for Pacific Lutheran University’s sale of KPLU to the University of Washington. Songs to Save KPLU: Help KPLU stay on the air at a fundraiser featuring Lizzie Boyer, The Jason Parker Quartet and The Brown Edition. 7 p.m. at Rhythm & Rye, 311 Capitol Way N., Olympia. Cost is a $15 donation at the door. Food will be provided by Our Table Restaurant, and all profits will be donated to SaveKPLU.

See what is blooming: Trillium Trek, 1 p.m., at Lake Sylvia State Park, 1812 Lake Sylvia Road N., Montesano. Meet by the kitchen on the beach. Well-mannered dogs on leash are OK.

Elma Elementary kindergarten registration: 9 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m. at the superintendent’s office, which is in the school.
